For those of you looking to entertain for the holidays, I always recommend coming up with a signature cocktail. It’s a great way to play on a theme and it shows your guests how much you care. Plus, it’s a fun way to change things up from the usual (sometimes stale) cocktail routine. A signature cocktail is also an easy way to use seasonal ingredients. And as a guest at a party, isn’t it inviting to see all those gorgeous colorful drinks being passed around?
At one of my most recent dinner parties I was playing on a gold theme with burgundy accents. And by the way, I adore the florist I used and received so many compliments on these luscious flowers by Plaza Flowers NYC. It felt like a good idea to come up with a special martini that would pair with the festive dining room decor and flowers. I came up with a 5-ingredient pomegranate martini recipe that’ll give your guests something to talk about! 🍸
Ingredients
- 3 ounces vodka
- 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
- 1 ounce triple sec
- 1 lime, juiced
- 2 Fresh pomegranate seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until very cold!
- Strain into martini glasses and garnish with pomegranate seeds. Enjoy!
I chose vodka for the alcohol because it doesn’t overwhelm any of the other flavors in the glass, but you can have fun with whatever liquor or liqueur you’re into. I hope this pomegranate martini treats you well this holiday season! I would love to hear any suggestions or ideas you might have up your sleeve in the comments section. Happy sipping!
XO,
Pamela
